Youth Pastor (Part-Time)
Job Summary
Ignite Church is seeking a passionate and servant-hearted Youth Pastor to lead and inspire our youth ministry. This part-time position (10-15 hours per week) is focused on cultivating an environment of discipleship and spiritual growth for the next generation. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who aligns with our church’s mission and values, effectively communicates biblical truths, and walks alongside students as they navigate life.
Responsibilities
- Lead the campus youth ministry in alignment with the vision of Ignite Church.
- Champion spiritual growth by creating a welcoming, Christ-centered environment.
- Plan and hold weekly Wednesday night youth services that engage and inspire students.
- Develop and execute a vision and growth plan for the youth group, implementing new ideas and strategies.
- Cultivate discipleship opportunities and build meaningful relationships with students and their families.
- Collaborate with the senior pastor, parents, and church leaders to support and encourage the spiritual growth of youth.
- Maintain a godly lifestyle and serve as a role model for young people.
- Regularly attend church services and participate in the life of the church.
Qualifications
- A servant-minded leader with a heart for discipling youth.
- Effective communicator with the ability to engage and connect with students, parents, and staff.
- Team player who works well with church leadership and families.
- Strong understanding of the challenges youth face today and how to guide them through biblical principles.
- A passion for building Christ-centered relationships and fostering spiritual growth in young people.
